My 8 week class will allow you to begin your journey in clay with other beginners in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. You'll learn all of the steps to creating basic bowls, vases, and even mugs. Skills like centering, forming, trimming, making handles, and glazing will all be covered in this course. You will leave this class with several finished pieces and will build some friendships along the way as well.
The first half of the sessions will focus on building basic skills and the second half will be time to work independently and will give you time to focus on making the pieces that you connect with the most. This class is both for beginners who want to learn the entire process or for intermediate potters who want to refine their skills. No experience is required for this class - Minimum Age - 16 years old.
